Choc Peanut Butter Overnight Oats

Serves 1, takes around 5 minutes to prep and 4 hours chilling!

Ingredients

Base:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup milk (any)

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened yoghurt

  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

 

 

Choc PB flavour:

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Place the ingredients into a jar or container and mix ingredients together.

  2. Screw on the jar or container lid and put in the refrigerator to refrigerate overnight for at least 4 hours.

  3. Remove from the refrigerator when ready to serve, stir well, and enjoy. Servings can remain in the fridge for 5 days max.

  4. Optional: Add a splash of milk if needed to make the consistency thinner and add extra toppings if desired.

TIP: You can use the same 'base recipe' and then make a range of flavours depending on your preference (see below).

Tropical: base recipe + 1/4 pineapple & mango pieces (fresh or frozen) + tbsp desiccated coconut.

​

Mixed Berry: base recipe + 1/2 mixed berries (fresh or frozen).

​

Banana Chocolate Chip: base recipe + 1/2 chopped banana (into pieces or mashed) + 1 tbsp choc chips.

​

Coffee: base recipe + 1 tsp instant coffee powder + 1 tbsp choco chip (optional).
